We came back to Nena for a family wedding in Pico, eight years after our first visit. It’s a unique place with so much history. On that first trip, we wanted to learn about the community where my grandfather was born and grew up. Carlo helped us find relatives we’d lost touch with, and thanks to his help we’ve reconnected with many family members in Pico. We’ll always be grateful to him.

Carlos made sure we had everything we needed, even arranging dinner reservations and sharing recommendations. The breakfast was amazing, and the inside of his bed and breakfast is stunning and very clean and tidy. Absolutely fantastic place. I’d recommend it to anyone.

We found Pico almost by chance and booked Nenà just on the strength of the reviews. We were only passing through, so didn’t arrive with any special expectations. The rooms were rustic and clean, fitting the surrounding landscape perfectly, and we had a wonderful stay. Carlo’s welcome, courtesy, patience, and guidance made it truly, truly lovely. We’ll come back to explore more of this beautiful medieval village and enjoy Nenà’s hospitality again.
