It was quiet, and the old town is about a 10-minute walk away. There’s also a car charging point if you need one. The rooms were good and the hotel had all the facilities I could want, with very helpful staff. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. The only snag was patchy WiFi in my room, so I ended up leaving the door open.

The pool was lovely to sit beside on a hot day, and the room itself was gorgeous. I stayed three nights, and breakfast had something a little different each morning. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and he and his family take meticulous care of the property. Everything was clean and smelled amazing. This was my favorite hotel on my trip to Italy.

The location made it easy to get around, just an 8-minute walk from the farthest part of the city. There’s a cute little pool beside the restaurant and bar, a nice place to get some sun before heading out. Luca greeted us like family as soon as we arrived, offered to carry our bags even though we were traveling light, and showed us around. I’ve stayed in at least 100 hotels in Italy, and this is my favorite. I wish I could stay longer and move in!

We stayed for two nights while biking through Toscana, and it was only a few minutes’ walk to the lovely center of Pienza. The hotel felt neat and cozy, with nice, spacious family rooms, comfortable beds, and everything very clean. The air conditioning worked well, though it was a bit loud. The owner and his wife provided a high standard of service. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the coffee was outstanding. The pool area was okay and fairly private. We definitely recommend it.
