My wife and I spent a fabulous day in Monticchiello yesterday, and we hope to see everyone again next year. The room was very clean, well equipped with all the modern amenities, and just a short walk from the center. At Bronzone, we had lunch and dinner, enjoying typical local food that was plentiful and well prepared. The show in the main square was beautiful and really interesting. Congratulations to all the residents who performed, children included, and to the staff at Teatro Povero di Monticchiello. 👏👏👏

My partner, our three-year-old daughter, and I spent four carefree days in Borgo di Monticchiello, in Pienza, in the province of Siena. Staying in a village had always been a dream, and we finally got to do it over New Year’s Eve, away from the city bustle. Mrs. Futura and Guido were so kind and made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. The apartment was spacious and welcoming, just like the people running it. It had everything for breakfast, including jams, Nutella, milk, butter, yogurt, and two homemade cakes, plus a handy coffee machine with pods. For dinner, we went to Il Bronzino just steps away. The warm welcome and delicious food there made us even more certain we’d made the right choice. We’ll never forget this New Year’s Eve in the village. Valentina, Gabriele and Martina

Peace and quiet seem to fill this charming apartment right in the center of Monticchiello. It’s been renovated tastefully while keeping the traditional rural architecture, and it has everything you need for up to four people. The best part was the owner’s kindness. From the first day, he made sure we had what we needed, even arriving with a still-warm yogurt cake that looked wonderful. There was coffee, juice, toast, jam, and butter, too. I was so sad to leave, but I’ll come back as soon as I can. It’s hard to imagine a better excuse to visit again and enjoy the boundless kindness of the people here. If you’re after a few peaceful days enjoying Tuscany, I can’t think of a better place than Foresteria del Tearo Povero. Thank you so much!

The location was incredibly beautiful, and the apartment was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped. Breakfast was even better than we expected, the staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out both went perfectly. We had a wonderful time. A truly fantastic place, highly recommended.
