Thankfully, our stay was only one night. The house must have been beautiful once, but it now needs renovation. The furnishings in the room are dated, and the tiny, very old TV didn’t work. There wasn’t any shower gel either, just little bars of soap. Reading the reviews, I expected a superb breakfast, but it was only canned fruit in July, a few pieces of fresh watermelon, two dry pastries filled with Nutella, and stale fried bread. The bread tasted good, but the setting was absolutely squalid. Breakfast comes to your room, so there’s no way to ask for more milk. And cappuccino? It doesn’t exist. Go somewhere else!

The owner was kind and ready to answer questions. Parking was close by, and breakfast was good, served in the room. It’s clean and tidy, and the walk to the center follows a path with an enchanting view over the area. You’ll spend longer taking pictures than getting to the historic center, especially if you go early in the morning. A night in Pienza is definitely recommended.

The owner is very kind. It’s a simple, clean place, just a few minutes on foot from the center and very close to the Belvedere and the parish church of Corsignano.
