What made the stay stand out was how warm and helpful everyone on staff was. Thanks, Valentina. You feel at home right away, and the care in the details adds a personal touch. The building is lovely too, and the staff are professional. Hotel de la Plage is just steps from the sea and has a relaxing atmosphere. It brings together comfort and hospitality, and I'll definitely return.

I stayed in the annex across from the main hotel. My room on the mezzanine was very clean and stayed quiet. The hotel is comfortable and well kept, with attentive staff and a plentiful, varied self-service breakfast. It faces the beach, and Pietra Ligure's center is about a 10-minute walk away.

The staff were kind and tried to help when Booking hadn't sent over our reservation details and they couldn't find the room we'd booked. They reassured me we'd have somewhere to stay that night, and they did find us a room. We were only there for one night. The location is convenient, but our room faced the street and the early morning traffic was very noisy. The windows were small, and the curtains didn't block the light, so the room was already bright at 6:30 am. The rooms were tiny, although the bathroom was large. Those details matter when you're hoping for a couple of relaxing days away. Breakfast was very meager, more like what you'd get at a B&B than a typical hotel, and the waitress had to serve the coffee. For the price, I don't think it was good value.
