Hotel Casella

Perfect, just perfect.

The pool was lovely and well kept, and breakfast was excellent. Free parking, which was readily available in May, was a real plus, and the location was ideal. We got a warm welcome and attentive service. The room was impeccably clean and very quiet at night. Just two small annoyances: the air conditioning unit’s green light, right above the bed, shone in my face all night, and the pillow wasn’t comfortable.

Hotel Casella is in a quiet area, a few minutes from the beach and town center, and it was excellent value for money. We had a wonderful stay. The staff were welcoming and always available, our room was clean and comfortable, and the pool was lovely and well maintained. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots of choice. A great fit for a family or couple’s holiday. We’d gladly return! 😊

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and high quality, and the hotel’s location was excellent, though parking was a problem. I gave it one star because the room, which should have been a closet, was horrible. This was room 14, so it needs a targeted check. There was a rotten egg, sulfur-like smell when I walked in. I was told airing it out should make the smell go away after a few weeks. The shower clogged if used for more than three minutes, flooded the bathroom, and then I had to wait another 10 minutes for it to clear. The bed, sold as a double, was split in two, dirty, and comparable to a homeless person’s mattress. Even a wooden board would have been more comfortable than the pillow. The floor needed better cleaning, and hygiene needed more attention. Thanks, goodbye.
