Breakfast under the banana trees and bamboo was lovely, especially with freshly brewed coffee. The owner is warm and clearly puts a lot of care into the place. She speaks English, Italian, and Portuguese, so it was easy to communicate, and you can use the kitchen too. The room was lovely and the bathroom very clean. The pool was spotless, open at any time, and looks out over the village. What a view! There’s no air conditioning or fan, unfortunately, though you can ask for one. Even so, the trip was well worth it.

The rooms are small and very basic, though I slept well. Service was barely there, and the two people running the B&B spoke very little Italian or English. Getting there is difficult, as it sits high up on a steep hill. Breakfast was croissants and coffee capsules. The pool stays very cool, but it was a bit dirty, with some dead insects in it. The price feels far too high for this B&B.
