La Campagnola

The host was great, the breakfast was amazing, and the house is very comfortable. La Campagnola is a treasure, absolutely 10/10, would recommend staying here. Thank you, Simone, for a great stay and for the recommendations on authentic food and things to do.

The location made getting around by bike really easy. La Campagnola sits between Forte dei Marmi, Marina di Pietrasanta, Pietrasanta, and Lido di Camaiore, with nearby beaches, including public ones, about 10-15 minutes away by bike. We arrived from Padua a little unsure, then were completely won over. The place is even nicer than the photos, with a huge garden, lovely pool, and a gazebo where my boyfriend and I ate pizza or snacks instead of going out. Our room and bathroom were beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, and if we wanted something that wasn't out, we only had to ask Simone and he'd have it ready the next morning. The family and Simo were so sweet and friendly, and made us feel at home. We’ll definitely come back.

My partner and I have already named La Campagnola our place of the year, and we’ll be back next year, and the year after that too! Simone and his mother, Iliana, are wonderful hosts who put real care and pride into everything. You can see it in the spotless rooms and in the outdoor spaces, from the fantastic pool and enormous garden to the beautiful gazebo. They also pay close attention to cleanliness and the regulations that matter especially at this time. The bicycles are a real bonus, and the location is handy, about five minutes from Marina di Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi. Ask Simone for suggestions and you can get to know Versilia through its food, places, and people. It’s a magical place, run by genuine people, and the care shows. Thanks for everything!

The garden is lush and so carefully kept that it feels like a little palace, and the pool makes it even better. Inside, our sunflower room was lovely and spacious, with a bathroom that felt almost regal. Everything was impeccably clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I was there with my husband and a friend. Simone served us a breakfast fit for a king, and he was friendly, easy to chat with, and happy to answer questions. We’d be very glad to return if we get the chance. Highly recommended.
