The property and its setting in the Tuscan hills are beautiful, and the staff were extremely helpful. We were glad we stayed, even though we ended up cutting the visit short. We came without a car, which made getting to Castelnuovo difficult. The bus only runs a few times a day and not on Sundays, and the alternative is walking along the motorway. There isn’t much else within walking distance either.

This was our second stay, and it was just as lovely. The room was private, clean and cool through the summer heat, and we slept really well. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Parking on site was easy, and Beppe's bar just around the corner was a handy breakfast stop. Our welcoming host also shared tips about local places to see. We loved being here.

The woman who runs this beautiful farmhouse was very kind and even suggested nearby restaurants when we asked. The garden and comfortable rooms made for an excellent experience. There is some traffic noise because it’s near a busy road, though traffic is light at night. Closing the window facing the street cuts the noise considerably.

The room and bathroom were just the right size, and the property itself is beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Since it’s in the countryside, they’re especially thorough with cleaning. Everything else was wonderful!
