B&B Boscoverde

We hadn’t planned on spending our wedding night here, but it turned into a lovely surprise. The remote setting made the place even more enchanting, and everything is beautifully designed. The owner welcomed us warmly, gave us a beautiful room, and prepared a sumptuous breakfast.

Rita made everything special, from marking waterfalls, trails, and places to eat on a map to preparing a one-of-a-kind breakfast with so much care and love. Our room was spotless, too. This lovely B&B is well placed for reaching lots of trails. I can’t wait to return.

Set right on a hiking loop that reaches all the spectacular waterfalls of the Rio Valdarno, this B&B is a great place either to head out exploring or simply stay put. The rooms are comfortable, lovely, clean, and well kept, inside a 16th-century ironworks. The building’s history is fascinating, and Rita is happy to tell you about it. She also makes the delicious breakfast and fantastic cakes herself. We were struck by the lush surroundings and absolute quiet when we arrived, and then by Rita’s warm hospitality. She looked after us and suggested all sorts of excursions and places to visit. We found it almost by chance, and it turned out to be an extraordinary experience.

The owner makes you feel at home and provides everything you need. Breakfast is generous, both sweet and savory, with local products and homemade cakes. There’s also a kitchen if you want to cook for yourself, and it’s a great choice if you’re traveling with a dog. Set among woods beside a mountain stream, the B&B has a lovely garden for relaxing outside, plus clean, cozy rooms with careful attention to detail. It’s a wonderful spot to spend a few relaxing days in nature, with hiking trails starting nearby and several towns just a few kilometers away.
