Country House La Foggetta

The pool was a lovely spot to unwind when we didn't feel like going out. We had a wonderful stay, with friendly staff and great service. Our room was clean and air-conditioned, and it had a big-screen TV that was nice to have in the evening. I'd recommend it!

This is our second trip to Italy, and we're glad we stayed here. Along this coast, you won't find a better deal for cleanliness, friendly service, and good value. The hotel is clean, the room was large and comfortable, and the scenery was beautiful. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the amazing food at the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Rude, rude, rude. I came to check in for a one-night company trip. As soon as I gave my name, the man told me the room hadn't been paid for and that it would cost €85. That sounded odd because we use an app for work trips and things are usually paid in advance. I said it was no problem: I had 24-hour customer service who could sort it out, and I had my credit card if needed. While I was messaging customer service, he kept telling me to pay or leave. The third time, I said he was making me uncomfortable. He replied, "I know people like you, they sleep and they don't pay!!!!" Rude and impolite. In the end, customer service called the hotel to find a solution, but nobody spoke English, unbelievable. I offered to translate, and while I was trying to understand the issue he told me, "we are in Italy you have to speak Italian." Funny thing is, he's not Italian himself. The provider told me they'd created a virtual credit card and the hotel could charge it any time. The man just didn't know how to use it, so I had to do it myself on his POS. All the while, he kept laughing in my face and telling me to pay, probably at least 20 times. I feel bad because there was no real problem, and I could have paid with my own card. But I can imagine someone who did have a problem being left outside without any help. Disgusting.

We chose this place for a one-night stay partly because of the restaurant, but unfortunately it was closed, and we hadn't been told in advance. The neighborhood was very nice, the rooms clean, and breakfast good. It's not far from the sea, and there's a large parking area.
