The place is relaxed, with a great pool and a very short walk to the beach. It’s a lovely little village, too. But how good the place you stay in is depends a lot on which house you get. We stayed in the house at the very back, and the owner treated us quite badly. They charged us for things we’d been told were included, took out the TV cable card for no reason, and lowered the shower pressure. It felt like they were trying to save every penny at the cost of our comfort.

The large balcony looks out over the pine forest and sea, with a little table and drying rack. The apartment itself was clean and nicely sanitized, and they supplied sheets, towels, kitchen basics, and a cleaning kit. The pool has set opening hours, requires a swimming cap, and always has a lifeguard on duty, which felt reassuring. It's close to the sea in a really quiet residential area. The one drawback is that there's nothing nearby, so you need the car for everything and have to hope there's parking whenever you get back.
