Lovely view and a great location. Just keep in mind that breakfast ends at 9:30, so if you want a lie-in, you’ll have to miss it.

The best thing is the location. Step outside, cross the street, and you’re at the beach. Breakfast has a decent mix of savory and sweet options. The rooms are average, though the doors could be improved to keep more sound out. The dining room staff were extremely kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Reception was less consistent. Depending on the time of day, some people there didn’t say hello or even look up when someone came in. The food could be much better for my taste. They served a plate of local cured meats and cheeses with just 2 slices of salami, probably Cacciatorino, 2 slices of small supermarket-quality mortadella, and 2 wedges of cheese. Is mortadella even a local cured meat? I’d add some prosciutto crudo and swap the cooked shoulder for better-quality cooked ham. Parking was another problem. There’s indoor parking for a fee, but vehicles have to line up on the garage ramp. If you’re at the back, you can go for a walk, but if you’re in the middle, you’re stuck until you get back. Street parking is possible if you can find a spot, but even for a walk in Roseto, you may have to park 300-400 meters or more from the hotel. A morning walk in the pine forest is a must and feels refreshing. The location really is beautiful, though a spot right by the sea costs extra.

We stayed from August 10 to August 20 and had a wonderful time. The sea was beautiful, as always in Abruzzo, and only 20 meters away. The hotel was spotless, and I left the car parked the whole time. I’d recommend using the hotel parking, because otherwise finding a spot is a hassle. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and deck chairs are available for a fee. The only drawbacks were slow meal service and an unbearable breakfast queue. The staff were excellent, and the kids are so young! Thumbs up!
