The ski locker came in handy, and after a day on the mountain I could unwind in a clean, comfortable room. The hotel was close to everything in town, so getting to the New Year’s events and skiing was easy. Staff were wonderful and helped with whatever we needed during a busy holiday week, making us feel at home. I was one of very few American tourists in Pinzolo over New Year’s Eve, which made the stay feel especially authentic and memorable. I’d gladly recommend it for a holiday visit.

My family never made it to Beverly Alps, and we lost 100% of what we paid, over $1000. Several weeks before the trip, I changed the dates on booking.com. For some reason, the free cancellation option from my original booking disappeared. I asked the hotel to restore it, since it had been there just an hour earlier, but they refused. I figured we’d be going on vacation anyway. Then, two days before our flight, my son came down with a very high fever and we couldn’t travel. I contacted the hotel repeatedly to ask about any possible solution: changing the dates, a voucher, or cancellation with a fee. Even a 50% charge seemed reasonable to me. We also asked booking.com to reach out, but none of that helped. I cancelled the flights, car, and equipment, but the hotel charged us the full amount. Legally, they may have been entitled to do that, but my son was sick and I hoped they might work with us. Their responses were polite, yet they still wouldn’t help, and they’ve stood by that decision to this day. They seemed to care only about their profits. The hotel might be a great place, but I’d warn anyone that last-minute changes or requests could end up costing them a lot. I found their attitude toward customers disgusting.

You won’t go hungry here, the food is fantastic, with lots of quality options and desserts. Anyone on a diet will miss out ;) The ski area is great too, and there’s a private shuttle each morning and evening. The place is very clean, and the spa is good for unwinding after skiing.
