Agriturismo Campo All'Olmo

Set among villas on a large lawn, this is a new property in a quiet spot. The apartments are easy to get to and very well equipped, with care given to the small details. Its location is very convenient.

We liked having room to relax outside, whether sunbathing on the grass or resting in the hammock. My daughter loved it so much she even slept there overnight. There's also a barbecue and a little table under the porch. On Tuesdays and Thursdays an ice cream van brings excellent ice cream right to the house, which was a lovely extra. The apartment was clean, modern, air-conditioned, and insulated well enough to stay comfortable in the heat. Silvia was kind and gave us lots of ideas for things to do. There isn't much nearby, which makes the place quiet, but Piombino and Baratti beach are about a 10-minute drive away. Mortelliccio takes under 15 minutes, the Venturina hot springs and nearest supermarket are 10 minutes away, and Follonica is about 20 minutes away. There's a good restaurant close by, and plenty more in Piombino. It's handy if you want to keep active and visit a different beach each day without driving far. Buca delle Fate was one of our favourites.

Silvia is an attentive host and knows a lot about the area. The place is clean and has everything you need, and the homemade ice cream delivered to your door at sunset is a real treat. It's a small family-run residence, a good fit if you want to get away from the crowds. You can visit different beaches without going far, or explore archaeological sites and the Tuscan countryside, including its hilltop villages.

Silvia, the owner, was lovely and ready to help with anything. We spent a week at this farmhouse and had a great time. It's peaceful, very close to the sea, and spotless. There's everything you need if you want to cook and eat at home.
