Airport Pisa Rooms

For the price, it’s great value. It’s clean, incredibly cheap, and just a three-minute walk from the airport, which worked brilliantly for our early flight. Don’t expect luxury, though. The bed wasn’t great, and there was quite a bit of noise. We were given a room with a “king” bed made from two singles, plus two spare single beds, and were firmly told not to touch the extras or the card would be charged. Air conditioning is available, but you have to pay for it, even though some listings may show it as an amenity. If you need a budget stop before an early flight and don’t have a bad back, it’ll do fine.

The room had no airflow, and the fan was noisy. There were mosquitoes, a bad smell, and no shower gel or hand wash in the bathroom, which wasn’t attached to the room. Service was terrible. We’d first booked for two people, then changed it to four a month before arrival. We were charged €129 per room per day, with €60 of that pushed on us as cash payment. Far too expensive for this kind of place. At least we got out after one day and found better rooms, with better service and a better location, for €70-90.

The manager was rude and seemed intent on squeezing as much money out of us as possible. He tried to charge for an extra bed that was already in the room, and the air conditioning cost €5. The hotel felt run down, with a brothel-like atmosphere, and there were mosquitoes everywhere. It also seemed like the room hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Honestly, I’d avoid it at all costs.

We were stranded in Pisa after flight delays, and this place was the only one open. They gave us a good ensuite room with a comfortable bed and decent facilities, and the customer service was super friendly and straightforward. The room was a little noisy, so we didn’t sleep especially well, but we didn’t mind too much. It covers the basics, and I’m grateful they were still open late to help travellers like us.
