The breakfast was a real letdown. We came down at 9:00 AM, although service runs until 10:00, and most of the food was already gone. The bacon and egg trays were empty, there was hardly any cold meat left, and while sausages were plentiful, they were rock hard. It seemed the food had been cooked early and left out without being kept warm. The staff were quite unfriendly, which made the meal worse. The design is genuinely interesting and deserves 5+/5, and check-in was quick and professional. The rooms are showing their age, but the creative style made that less of an issue for me. Location gets 2/5 without a car, or 4/5 if driving. Breakfast gets 0/5, a complete disaster. I hope management looks at the catering, because it drags down an otherwise stylish hotel.

We stayed two nights on a business trip, and both the breakfast and restaurant were excellent. The hotel is very well run, with friendly staff who are a real asset. We’ll definitely return when we’re back in the area.

The buildings feel like an art museum, and the room is stylish, comfortable, and spacious for two. The only drawback is that it’s far from the train station.

I usually choose global chains for their safety, ethics, and facilities, so I was curious about this well-reviewed boutique hotel in Pisa. The people, atmosphere, and delicious food made the stay memorable. The staff were genuinely warm and went out of their way to make me comfortable, with a level of care I rarely get even at high-end international hotels. I’d give them 10 out of 5. The room’s A/C could use some fixing, but even someone used to five-star hotels may find this place exceeds expectations. Thanks, Francesco, you’re a wonderful hospitality professional.

A good spot for a proper night’s sleep. The room was very clean, the bed supportive, the pillows good, and the amenities were complete. Breakfast didn’t offer much choice.
