Villa Incanto B&B

The rooms were cleaned regularly, and I still remember the swans made out of towels. Breakfast was simple, just right for me: a croissant with jam, prosciutto or another ham, and a good espresso. The people running the place were wonderful. When our car broke down just outside town on the way there, I called to say we'd be late. The owner came to get us himself and contacted local mechanics to find someone who could repair it. His partner was amazing with the kids, so patient. I briefly lost sight of my daughter one day and found her with Margherita while she was tending the greenery around the villa. After that, my daughter ran over to hug Margherita whenever she saw her. If you're planning a family break with kids near the sea, book a room without hesitation. Five out of five.

We were welcomed like family by Guiseppe Tambasco and Matgozata Ferester. We ate, slept, toured around, and ate some more. Bella! One of the most beautiful places on earth. Thank you both. We'll miss you, and we'll be back!

We didn't enjoy our stay, and I want to warn other families. We saw a couple with kids being treated disrespectfully, and it seemed like children weren't welcome because staff complained about them. We had to clean our own room, and it felt as though people from some countries were treated more kindly than others. Don't trust the reviews above, they don't match what we experienced.

The grounds are full of colorful flowers and clearly looked after with a lot of care. It's a quiet spot away from the bustle, yet only ten minutes from the beaches of Palinuro and the lovely village of Pisciotta, with its spectacular waterfront. The owner was friendly and helpful, and Mrs. Margherita was always smiling and working hard. I felt at home, especially during our long, friendly chats in the mornings. I didn't get to try Giuseppe's "my-style" cooking, which is my one regret. The smells coming from his kitchen were so inviting that I hope to return before summer ends.
