I stayed in a double and twin room, and found the place dull, inadequate, and much too expensive for what it offers. The heavy furniture, bare decor, and drab fittings don’t match the service or atmosphere. The bathroom is really more of a toilet, about 3 square meters (!!), with cheap, minimal fixtures that don’t work for the space. A B&B, so to speak, that I’d strongly avoid. There are surely better choices in welcoming Pisticci and the surrounding area.

This was the worst place we stayed in during two weeks in Basilicata. The room was small and old, inside the owner’s home, and the bathroom was low and cramped, with no bidet. The owner was unfriendly and unwelcoming, unlike the rest of Basilicata, and she wasn’t from the area. She even had us park on a street where the market was held in the morning. We got a fine and risked having the car towed, but she took no responsibility. She’d told us breakfast at the bar was unlimited, but it turned out the maximum spend was €2 per person. And this was the highest price we’d paid so far in Basilicata. Strongly not recommended.
