Appartamenti Forteguerriana

We loved the apartment and its views. It was spotless, outstanding, and close to everything. Such a world-class experience, and the most beautiful apartment in Tuscany!

We found the apartment very clean, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed. The owners were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and we’d definitely recommend staying here. Its central spot in Pistoia made a good base for visiting different cities in Tuscany. We could enjoy the town while still having a quiet place to relax.

The hosts were kind and attentive, and the apartment was gorgeous. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

Daniele went far beyond what we expected after we lost an external disk drive during our time in Italy. He searched the apartment, checked with the cleaning lady, and eventually found it at the laundromat. Then he went to collect it and mailed it to us. We’re very grateful, and I’d give him six stars if I could. It was a reminder of the hazards of bringing work on vacation, and apparently of working in bed too. He was thoughtful from the start. Daniele showed us where to park, a 4-5 minute walk away, and gave us a tour of the apartment. Having a dedicated parking space nearby was essential in our choice of Appartamenti Forteguerriana. He also returned the next day with a plug adaptor. The apartment was perfect for our family of four, with a separate bedroom for our girls, two full bathrooms, a complete kitchen, and a comfortable sofa and living room. One bathroom had clearly been recently redone, with a modern finish and a fantastic rain shower. The windows looked out over town, and the place exceeded our expectations. We used Pistoia as a base for Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Siena, and Florence, with plenty more nearby for another time. Pistoia itself was a nice surprise. We enjoyed walking around the center, having coffee, and eating dinner one evening at Fiaschetteria, which I highly recommend.
