Albergo il Torchio

The staff were exceptionally kind, though a few minor details could still be improved. Breakfast had a broad choice of pastries, and our room was comfortable, clean, and had all the comforts. It's a lovely little B&B in a clean village with beautiful architecture. If you expect the sort of service that even washes your feet, you'll need to look elsewhere, but I do recommend staying here.

We paid 80 euros for terrible service. Never again. Breakfast was a mess: the cakes had no covers or labels, so someone with an allergy couldn't tell what was in them. The yogurt was left out of the fridge, and only after my husband and I had eaten the toast did we notice it was EXPIRED. The room hadn't been cleaned. There were obvious stains on the floor, thick cobwebs above the window that looked at least two weeks old, and stale chewing gum stuck to the back of the remote. That was the most disgusting part. We were the only guests booked that day, so there should have been even more time for cleaning. A business needs to be clean either way. I paid for a CLEAN room, regardless of whether the employee had just returned from vacation. Truly SHOCKING!!!

The hotel was very nice and clean. I wasn't comfortable with the duvet, though. It was used without being tucked inside the sheets, which didn't seem hygienic to me.

The owner was friendly, and breakfast was excellent. A friend and I spent the night at this small, comfortable hotel in the village, and we could park our bikes there overnight. Highly recommended.
