Caladune Resort

We returned from our one-week stay on 22 June 2026, and the arrival was awful. We reached reception at 1:30 a.m., but nobody seemed prepared. Our accommodation wasn't ready, and we weren't given the room we'd paid for. Without any explanation, they took us somewhere else. In the morning, we insisted on the booked room and contacted our tour representative. Only at noon, after we had asked and complained repeatedly, did we finally get it. We learned that many people on our bus had the same issue, and that other guests had problems too. Many complained about mold in their rooms. The food was all very good, and the beach was fine, but nobody seemed to care about how badly the arrival had gone. Everything was treated as if there was plenty of time. We wouldn't choose this place again. The resort photos don't match reality at all. It was supposedly opened this year, but it certainly didn't look like a new resort.

We had a great stay, with a beautiful facility, good food, and a wonderful sea. The entertainment staff were polite and very sweet. Thanks so much to Giorgia, Giada, Vanessa, Martino, Gin, and Gianmarco, the head of entertainment and goal scorer 😜😁. Many thanks as well to all the lifeguards, bar staff, restaurant staff, cleaning staff, and maintenance staff, who were always kind and helpful. Thanks also to the property manager. We had a fabulous dream vacation here for a week, and our two-year-old daughter had a great time too. The organization was excellent, and we will definitely come back. Highly recommended. The food was delicious, all of it except breakfast, and the chef was superb. The entertainment staff were excellent and kind. The dining room staff and reception manager were friendly and helpful, and the cleaning ladies were kind, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job. The common areas were all well kept, and the sea was beautiful with lifeguards there constantly. There was entertainment on the beach too. We brought a packed lunch for the return journey.

The restaurant service was excellent: maître d' Fedele Rispoli had a lovely mix of warmth, hospitality, and friendliness. He looks strikingly like actor George Clooney. Marika and Gabriella added elegance, and Gianluigi was quick as a hare. At the pool, Domenico was incredibly helpful and friendly, paying attention to every detail. He won't even let you light a cigarette! 😂 When we arrived, there was a small misunderstanding about the kids' club entertainment. A chat at the bar with director Marco Anastasio cleared it up. He was kind and clearly experienced. Nothing to complain about with the rest of the staff either. From "Clooney" to the Director, a five-star experience. Highly recommended!
