The restaurant was the highlight of the stay. We had an excellent meal, good service, and great value for money. There was a birthday group dining too, and the catering was very well organized. We were greeted by a pleasant gentleman at reception, and it seemed we were the only hotel guests. The room was okay, but everything felt tired and dated. We stopped here on the long drive from the Italian Midlands to Sicily, mainly because it’s close to the motorway exit and has a car park. The seafront is only about 100 meters away. We left the next morning after a rather poor breakfast. It wasn’t bad, but this definitely isn’t a four-star hotel.

The owners were super friendly, and the service was really good. The food was brilliant when we ate here in May 2025, so ignore the outdated reviews. We started with a meat and cheese platter, all delicious and nicely presented, then had two pasta dishes. Both were fresh tasting and cooked perfectly al dente, as good as pasta anywhere we’ve tried in Pizzo, and we’ve been to lots of places. We were too full to have dessert. Definitely recommend!

I had a very bad experience here and won’t go back. The rooms were very old and dirty, and they turned off our air conditioners at night. We also asked the waiter for decaf coffee, but he never brought it.

The pool was a lovely place to unwind, and the sea and beach were only a few minutes away on foot. We also really liked the clean, spacious rooms and the friendly, helpful proprietor. Breakfast was a nicely arranged buffet with a coffee machine. The restaurant was a highlight: great wait staff, excellent wine, reasonable prices, and food that was the best we had during two weeks in Italy, even with plenty of other good meals. The chef was phenomenal, especially with the homemade pesto and gnocchi, linguine with picante sauce, and grilled steak and swordfish.
