Villa Garibaldino

I don’t usually write reviews, but my girlfriend and I spent two truly romantic weeks here. We loved having lunch and dinner on the terrace. In the evening, the sunset turns the sky and landscape orange, which is beautiful. It’s quiet, and the forest starts right outside the door if you fancy a walk. The house is furnished really nicely and could easily fit four people. Maybe next year :-)

The terraces are fantastic, and the house is quiet, tastefully furnished, and surrounded by greenery. It was ideal for our dogs, too.

I want to give a slightly different perspective on the earlier reviews. The house is nicely furnished and has a beautiful terrace, but in December the sun only reaches it from 12:30 pm, and it’s completely dark by 4 pm. You rent only part of the house, which makes the impression of a large house a bit misleading. The second bedroom is up a very steep staircase and has no door, so privacy is an issue. The kitchen is tiny, and the bathroom is rather modest. There’s no access to the garden, something dog owners may want to know. The area around the house is heavily wooded. If you’re expecting open Tuscan hills dotted with cypress trees, this isn’t the place for you. The stay wasn’t bad, though.

The owner’s information before our stay was perfect and very helpful, and we felt right at home. We spent a week in this beautifully located, comfortable house. It’s very well equipped, including the kitchen, and the view from the terrace was breathtaking, a real feast for the eyes. For nature lovers like us, it hardly gets better.
