I Melograni Del Chianti

This is my third time here, and it’s still beautiful. The countryside is peaceful and quiet, with stunning views and an excellent pool. They make olive oil and wine, and the hosts are fantastic. It suits couples and families. Poggibonsi is just a couple of minutes away, with fuel stations, restaurants, and Coop.

Serena and Sarah made us feel welcome again, and I have no doubt we’ll return. This was my second stay at this vineyard and grove oasis, and the magic hasn’t worn off. If anything, the beauty has grown on me. The lush grounds and bright mornings were just as lovely as I remembered, and somehow even better than expected. The place feels like sleeping in a dream. Every window has a postcard view, even the bathroom window, which I had to take a picture of! The beds were cozy, the linens superb, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a full-size fridge. Serena had our space ready and welcoming, while Sarah suggested lesser-known nearby places to visit. We enjoyed thrifting in town and getting gelato in San G., and for us, groceries from Penny in Poggibonsi were a must. The location works perfectly for me. Poggibonsi is an easy drive, and reaching other cities is a scenic adventure in itself. You can watch the sunrise on one side of the grounds and catch an unmatched sunset from the terrace. I can’t think of anywhere more beautiful. This is heaven.

Serena and Eleanor made us feel very welcome and gave us helpful tips on travel, restaurants, and nice days out. The whole place is peaceful, with lovely views across the Tuscan countryside from both sides. Our apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed, and the pool was lovely too. I’d recommend it to anyone who loves Italy and wants a relaxing break near Florence and Sienna. We’ll come back one day.
