The wedding catering was unforgettable, especially the pizza at our welcome party. We toured Italy on our honeymoon afterward, and that pizza still beat every other one we tried. The wedding night meal was just as amazing, course after course. We spent three days here with our closest friends and family, and the beautiful Tuscan setting, well-kept apartments, and kind staff made everyone feel special. Every event had a lovely atmosphere, and the grounds were exactly the backdrop we had hoped for. Our guests were so happy with their stay. Planning from the US could have been difficult, but Alessia guided us through everything with great expertise. Communication was excellent, and I trusted her completely. Thanks to Alessia, Jacopo, and their whole team, the wedding went beyond what we imagined. We’ll always be grateful for the best days of our lives. Photo credit: Joel Skingle. The pool became a favorite spot for our slow afternoons, and we enjoyed heading out to nearby towns too. While photographing a wedding, I found inspiration in every corner of Antico Borgo San Lorenzo. Its historic stonework, quiet courtyards, and sweeping views made the property feel full of character, with a backdrop ready wherever I turned. The Tuscan light was just what photographers hope for, and the hospitality helped the couple and guests feel at ease. It’s a wonderful destination wedding venue, and I’d come back in a heartbeat. The BBQ and pizza parties really impressed us. The food and drinks were excellent, and our guests had lovely things to say about the friendly, helpful staff. We booked three nights for our wedding and couldn’t have been happier. Alessia was there throughout the planning, made it easy, and did a fantastic job coordinating on the day. She helped us feel relaxed the whole time. The Tuscan hills looked beautiful from the property, and the pool was incredible. The grounds and apartments had just the right rustic feel. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding venue they’d ever seen. I couldn’t recommend Antico Borgo San Lorenzo more highly.

The varied sizes of the apartments worked perfectly for our group, and the property is set up very well for bringing everyone together. Jacopo, Alessia, and their staff gave us wonderful service. The food was another highlight, absolutely delicious, and Alessia was a big help with vendor recommendations for our vow renewal and celebration. We spent a week at Antico Borgo San Lorenzo with 28 close friends and family to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The location is lovely, with amazing views and a tucked-away feel in the Tuscan countryside, yet two towns are close by for anything we needed. Every guest had a successful stay. This place feels like a little slice of paradise, and we’d gladly recommend it.

The grounds let us hold different wedding events in different spots, which made the celebration feel special. The food was amazing, and we still think it was the best pizza we’ve ever had. We married at Antico Borgo San Lorenzo in June 2024, hosting 60 of our closest family and friends in a stunning setting. Alessia and Jacopo were a huge help as we planned. It was an unforgettable day, and we’ll always treasure our memories here. Thank you!
