B&B La Rusticana

If you're visiting from outside the area, expect to pay more here. Two margheritas cost 13 euros. You can get them for less in Milan, yes, even in Milan.

The bed creaked, the flags hanging from the balconies were ragged, and there wasn't much care for the details. We also had a mix-up over breakfast, which apparently wasn't included in the price. The Olimpus felt disorganized and pretty average.

We were completely worn out after a day of unexpected problems, so on the way to Salento we stopped in Poggio Imperiale to get some rest. They found us a room next to a restaurant, where dinner was fresh, homemade, and served quickly. We felt rested enough to carry on with our trip the following day.

We spent one night at the "New B&B." For context, B&B La Rusticana recently split into two properties, "New B&B" and "Olympus." Our room looked like a garage turned into a bedroom, with shabby furniture and rubble still on the floor, as if the rushed renovation had only just finished. The fridge was old and rusty. There were no lamps by the beds, so the choice was the main light or darkness, and the sockets and switches had no covers. The bidet was loose, though there were hand towels and bath sheets. The bathroom had no toiletries beyond soap in a sink dispenser, and there wasn't even a hairdryer. The owner was rude and arrogant. Honestly, I don't think this place should be operating as a business. I've attached a photo.
