The B&B has a quirky, fun feel, and the room was fine. Breakfast was good, and it’s handy for day trips to Bologna or Ferrara since it’s so close to the train station. Just don’t count on the front desk or restaurant hours being exact. They seem more like suggestions.

At 7:00 PM, after I arrived for the night, I was told there had been a mix-up and no room was available, so I’d have to sleep in my car. I’d booked two months earlier for the night of November 9th, as the attached image shows. Avoid him. He was rude and vulgar.

The restaurant-wine bar is really top-notch, for both its wine and its food, and Andrea, the restaurant manager, is a wonderful person. It’s a beautiful location, too, and the place is very well kept and welcoming.
