Agriturismo La Ca 'd Majin

This is a real agriturismo, well suited to families. The rooms are spacious and well cared for, with linens that give them an old Piedmont feel. The hostess is very helpful, and the food is simple and authentic. Definitely recommend it.

The rooms have a spacious, clean, rustic feel, and there’s guarded parking in the garden. We were warmly welcomed by the woman who runs the place, and the homemade food felt authentic. A lovely farmhouse for relaxing in nature.

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. There’s a beautiful, spacious dining room, plus a garden out front with a playground for children. The separate hotel has ten rooms for overnight stays and two breakfast rooms. They open on weekends by appointment, while groups need to book during the week.

We’d come here every Easter, but this Easter lunch left the whole family disappointed. It took five hours, and for us it was all show without enough substance. The meal felt rushed in its preparation, yet dragged on, and it was less abundant and less thoughtfully served than the lunches we remembered from earlier years. There were lots of very do-it-yourself appetizers, then asparagus rice and plain ravioli, followed by roast and potatoes that weren’t anything special. Dessert was strawberries and a piece of panettone. Over €180 for five people. Never again. I hope they take this review to heart and make the Easter meal feel more like an agriturismo lunch, with shorter waits.
