Summer Paradise

The convenient location makes it easy to get to the beaches at Capitello, Villammare, and nearby areas, while avoiding the crowds farther up in Cilento. Staff were friendly and always available. We ate at the restaurant one evening and were treated very well. The accommodation itself was a different story. The resort feels stuck in the 1980s, from the entrance sign to the truly outdated bungalows. Our boiler gave us trouble throughout the stay, and the toilet drain pipe leaked. The kitchen was dirty when we arrived, and the rest had only been cleaned very superficially. There was no soundproofing at all; we could hear our neighbors as if they were inside our bungalow, even their phones vibrating. I won't return because the place lacks amenities. There's potential here, but the owners would need to invest in a complete renovation and redo the facilities. Otherwise, they might as well turn it into a campsite for caravans and campers.

This is a family-run place where everyone has a role, from the bar and kitchen to the dining room. Toni & Signora and their children are always around, warm and friendly, ready to anticipate what guests might need. Even Esdra, the dog, is part of the welcome. The food is a real treat, balancing tradition with variations, and the cocktails are almost perfectly suited to your taste before you've even said much. Michael and Sara keep the entertainment fun and engaging without being pushy. It's a family-friendly place with simple, genuine people who care more about human connection than appearances. The beach is rented through a special agreement, and its owner is helpful and attentive in every way. As for the sea, you'll have to experience it yourself to understand. Beautiful vacation, beautiful place, beautiful people. I'll be back!

The family atmosphere and impeccable service made this a perfect vacation. It's a beautiful, well-kept resort, thanks to the owner's passion and the professionalism of the whole staff. The place is neglected and disorganized, with some parts falling apart. The little houses look decades old, with tired furnishings, sagging mattresses that felt like they belonged in a museum of pain, and showers so cramped it was hard to choose between washing and breathing. So much for “Summer Paradise”; the only heavenly thing was how quickly we wanted to pack and leave. We stayed because we were with a newborn and didn't want to add stress for him or his parents. They had come from the north to relax with us and spend a few days with their newborn grandson. The one real bright spot was head entertainer Michael, who, together with Nadine and Sara, managed to make us smile despite the hospitality disaster. Their talent can't make this place worth recommending. They deserve to work somewhere that values them and their skills more fairly.
