The location was perfect, and the room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast on the lovely terrace was a treat. There was almost no flexibility around check-in, checkout or leaving luggage. I understand this is a house, not a hotel, but other places I've stayed have been more relaxed about those things. Check-in was strictly between 4 and 6 pm, and checkout at 10 am made the stay feel rushed. I also thought it was a bit expensive at 140 eur for one night, though prices in Puglia are very high at the beginning of September.

The main drawbacks were the squeaky bed, which kept waking us up, and our room having no view. The 10 am checkout also felt too early and rushed, and the check-in and checkout times weren't very convenient. On the plus side, the place was clean and comfortable, close to both the center and the beach. Breakfast was fresh and served on a beautiful terrace, and the friendly staff even brought us a softer pillow when we asked. It was a nice stay and a good experience, though nothing especially memorable.
