We had a comfortable, clean room with lovely bedding and a spotless bathroom. There’s also a gelato shop and somewhere to arrange things like bike hire and boat tours just steps away. Each morning Matteo served us a tasty breakfast on the terrace, with a nice breeze coming in from the ocean. Tra Le Mura Bed & Breakfast is perfectly placed for getting around on foot. Via Roma and Grotta Palazzese are only a block away, and Lama Monachile beach is about a 10-minute walk. Matteo was wonderfully helpful from the start. He arranged a golf cart from the train station and a tuk-tuk to Calaponte Marina for our boat tour. After we checked out, he got in touch to let us know my niece had left her ring behind. That honesty really says a lot about the staff. We even saw a double rainbow over the ocean while we were there, which was beautiful. I highly recommend Tra Le Mura and hope to return for longer to see more of Puglia. Thanks again, Matteo, for taking such good care of us.

Matteo made us feel so welcome, he was warm, friendly, and always accommodating. The place was clean and comfortable, and everything was easy to reach on foot. We really enjoyed his breakfast, especially for the value. We’d absolutely stay again.

The location at Tra le Mura is fantastic, and the restaurant noise nearby quiets down around midnight, so we slept well. Everything went smoothly from booking directly with Matteo through the stay itself. I’d happily pick this B&B again.

This was my second year in a row at BnB Tra Le Mura, and I can’t picture choosing anywhere else in Polignano. It’s a perfect base for enjoying the town, and has become one of my favourite places in the world. Thanks for another stay I won’t forget!

I had a lovely sea view from my balcony, and the rooftop breakfast area had spectacular views too. Matteo communicated clearly, helped me find my way from the train, and shared recommendations for sights and restaurants. The B&B is in the old town, with everything within easy walking distance, and my room worked well for my two-night stay. The one issue was that I couldn’t turn the heat down. Leaving the balcony door open helped, and it probably wouldn’t matter in the warmer months when the heating is off. I’d like to come back for longer when more places are open, and rent a car to explore the region.
