The place is bigger and nicer than the pictures suggest, and the balcony overlooks the town square. It was easy to walk to everything. Inside, the apartment was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with refreshing air conditioning, a very comfortable bed, and soft sheets. The host made check-in simple and was welcoming, with thoughtful local tips. The downsides: there is NO WIFI, and a 10:00 checkout felt early, the earliest I've come across. After two months of traveling around Europe and staying somewhere different each night, this was only the second place without WiFi. I'd recommend adding it to an otherwise perfect rental in Polignano.

I don't recommend staying here. The hosts were rude, and the bathroom was so uncomfortable I wouldn't come back: the toilet is right up against the shower, and you can't really stay by the door. There was no washing machine or detergent for cleaning clothes or towels, so apparently that was left to whoever cleaned during check-in. The doors don't lock. There were no napkins, cloths, paper towels, or even utensils for cleaning dirty dishes and pans. Two rooms were locked, and we were denied access to the terrace even though it was included in the price. The piano was out of tune and its sustain was broken.

Giuseppe, the owner's son, welcomed us warmly and was incredibly helpful. He suggested places for food, nightlife, and beaches. The house itself was gorgeous and spacious, with everything provided and every detail taken care of. It's only steps from everything Polignano has to offer. We couldn't have chosen better, and we'll definitely be back.

The four-poster bed was especially lovely, and the house on the main square was a nice place to stay. We enjoyed our one night there a few weeks ago. I gave it three stars because I hope two things can be improved: heating that felt inadequate for winter, and the bathroom. The radiator was only half warm, apparently because the air needed bleeding from the system. The hangers, towel rails, and toilet paper holder were all coming loose from the wall, leaving the radiator as the only place to put towels. I also forgot to mention that the bathroom door wouldn't close properly. These are small details, but they make a difference.

The city-center location was convenient, but the single-glazed windows made it hard to sleep, especially with the noise from the garbage collectors. The place also didn't live up to what many websites say about it. Profit above all! I was there with my 35-year-old daughter, and we had to negotiate to get a second bed. We were meant to arrive at 8 PM, but when we got there at 7 PM, we were charged €20 for a late arrival. After I got angry, the person agreed to drop the charge. The next day, after we'd left, I realized I'd forgotten my very full wallet (€1000) in the room. We went back, but the wallets were gone. The waiter had been there between two people!
