Enero was a great host, and his house was lovely, very clean, too. We only stayed one night and wished we'd booked longer. The town is wonderful, and we plan to return.

The woman who greeted us was cheerful, kind, and helpful, and made us feel welcome right away. Prices are reasonable, and the rooms are comfortable with a nice bathroom. Our top-floor room had a terrace with a wonderful view across the whole town and the surrounding mountains. The only drawback was the spiral staircase. It connects the lower level, with a shared kitchen and reading corner, to the rooms spread across the upper floors. A good place to stay when visiting Polizzi Generosa.

Breakfast was on the ground floor, with the usual Italian items plus typical Polizza pastries and biscuits. The fridge also had apricots, peaches, water, juices, milk, other drinks, and yogurt. I had plenty of conversations with Ettore, the young manager, and found him attentive and clear. I was there for just one night, but came away with a positive impression. This is an old townhouse in Polizza, renovated inside while keeping features like the vaulted room ceilings. A spiral staircase goes up to the other floors. My room was spacious, with a long hallway to the bathroom, and it was quiet, air-conditioned, and clean. The mattress was comfortable and the sheets smelled fresh. Highly recommended.

We came to Polizzi Generosa for a philosophy festival and had a lovely stay. Ettore, the young man who welcomed us, was friendly, kind, and helpful. The place was clean and well furnished, and we had a little terrace on the top floor overlooking the rooftops and main church. We paid very little, too. Definitely recommended.

The owner was attentive and very friendly, offering advice on seeing the village and where to have lunch or dinner. He leaves out a table of breakfast items, with coffee, milk, sugar, and fresh water for anyone who wants breakfast. The room was huge and very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom had everything needed for a pleasant stay. I'd read that parking can be tricky for some people, but we parked right outside without any problem. Both the B&B and the village feel like scenes from a movie.
