Il Profumo dei Sensi

August 15th week is still pleasantly cool in Pollica, and we slept wonderfully. The accommodations are in a charming village that feels bucolic and almost forgotten, a lovely place to stay. The rooms are spacious, simple, and comfortable. A short drive gets you to a private seaside chalet with a beautiful view and room away from the crowds. I've taken some incredible sunset photos there while having excellent aperitifs. It's run by a family in a very professional way, with plenty of pampering. We'll definitely be back.

The green room was stunning, the breakfasts were generous and delicious, and the staff were friendly. We found this little paradise after reading all the positive reviews online, and they were absolutely right. The B&B has all the comforts for a memorable holiday. The price also includes free access to the owners' lido in Acciaroli, a sea-facing terrace where you can relax away from the crowds and watch romantic sunsets. Exceptional value. Highly recommended!

We felt at home with Cristina, her son Simone, and his wife Gina running the place as a family. The rooms are clean, fresh, and well appointed, and breakfast is plentiful, with Cristina's delicious desserts. The setting is enchanting and offers great value for money. Acciaroli is just 100 miles away, with everything available there, from parking to sun loungers and umbrellas, all in compliance with the rules.

Pollica is picturesque, but there isn't much there. If you want quiet and a lot of solitude, it may suit you; it's nothing like Castellabate or Acciaroli. Getting to the beach is a hell of a drive. The homemade cakes are excellent, but having to go to a bar for a decent coffee or cappuccino is absurd. The rooms are small, and the double bunk beds make them feel even more cramped. They're uncomfortable for two people and leave no room for four.
