Camping & Village Rais Gerbi

This peaceful, relaxing campsite ended up being our favourite place of the many we stayed at during two weeks in northern Sicily. We'd planned just one night, then added a few more days. The beach is only a minute's walk away, and the staff are lovely and helpful. There's a small town within walking distance, plus plenty to do by car, including Cefalù and Nebrodi park. We hope to come back in our van. Thank you 🥰

The owners really go out of their way to make sure you have a good stay. There's a pool, a sun terrace, and access to a rocky beach. The on-site mini market had the essentials even at the end of the season, while the restaurant opens Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The nearby small town is an easy walk, with a small supermarket, butcher, and a few bars and restaurants around the area. Their opening times vary. This was the best campsite we stayed at in all of Sicily.

We loved our first almost-camping trip. We rented a small camping house for a couple of days, and although it was tiny, it had nearly everything we needed. The pool was warm and had a nice view, though it runs on a schedule. The beach is small and rocky, and while you can swim there, we stuck to the pool during our two days. A few extras to budget for: towels, air conditioning, and a swimming hat for the pool. Add about 15-20 euro to the bill and you'll be comfortable. It wasn't a big deal for us since we didn't spend much time there and it doesn't cost too much. The views are good, the pool is great, and the atmosphere is perfect. There's also a great Pizza place on site. It's not a romantic dinner spot, but the pizza and desserts are tasty, and you get a fantastic sea view from almost anywhere. Everyone speaks English, thanks for that! We loved our stay and now want to try a full camper experience :)

Enzo, his lovely wife, and their daughters made our holiday special from check-in through checkout. We'd planned to stay in our camper, but upgraded to a fantastic igloo-shaped bungalow. This family-run campsite is the best in Scilly, even Italy. We stayed in October, and the huge seawater pool was open, unlike other places. The pizzeria was delicious, and the chef was so friendly. There's lots to do nearby, including the zipwire. Visit Pollina, it's amazing. The beach was stony but beautiful, and you can order bakery goods at reception.
