Residence Living Poltu Quatu

The team at W Sardinia made the stay stand out. Spiro, Aldo, and Christina were always a pleasure to see when we got back from exploring. At breakfast in Tanit, Marco, Mohamed, and the rest of the team made sure mornings started well. Yasmin and Alejandro at the WET Deck were lovely to be around and had helpful local tips, and pool staff Eduardo and Alexia were great too. Bruno, Luka, Davido, and Valero made good company at the bar in the evenings, with a real sense of teamwork. Chiara and the other front desk staff were kind and quick to help with our requests. The hotel is tucked into the quaint village of Poltu Quatu, and its fresh, modern look works beautifully with the surrounding landscape. We’ve stayed in plenty of beautiful places, but haven’t come across a staff as connected and remarkable as this one. That can be hard to judge when picking a destination, and the W team got it right.

I’m really glad I got to stay here before the hotel was operating at full capacity. It was spotless, and the staff were attentive and handled everything so naturally, you’d think they’d been there for years. I’m excited to see how it does next season when it’s fully up and running. This was my favorite W stay so far. Yasmin at the pool restaurant was lively and friendly, paid close attention to my needs and dietary restrictions, and gave me great recommendations. Alessandro at the pool kindly put together everything we needed for a hike: towels for a swim, wet wipes for our faces and hands, and water. He always greeted us with a big smile, and I really appreciated his care. When we were rushing at checkout, valet and bellmen Federico A. and Aldo F. promptly helped with the car and loaded our bags. Mattia, the AGM, was around the property a lot, always smiling and happy to chat. I enjoyed our conversations.

The pool looked gorgeous, and a golf cart takes you to the beach club. Our room was lovely, with plush linens and a comfortable mattress. Every detail throughout the hotel felt carefully considered and beautifully designed. The staff were incredible and ready to help with anything. One of the most exceptional hotels I’ve stayed in, 10/10.

Leaving this place was the hard part. I’m so glad there’s now a beautiful hotel on my paradise island. The furniture and decor feel worthy of the high standard W represents, and the staff did an extremely good job of making us feel welcome. Even though the hotel has been renovated, it feels like a brand new build that fits the island’s style perfectly. The hotel is lovely, and there was nothing negative to say. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
