I booked after reading the reviews on the booking site, but our stay had some problems that the host didn't address or put right. I didn't share most of the glowing comments there.

Francesco was so helpful, and the place itself was spacious, clean, and really comfortable. I'd recommend it and would come back. Grazie Francesco!

The road to the ruins is awful, running beside the highway and often with no sidewalk, even though the place is fairly close to them. The neighborhood was upsetting as soon as we arrived. At the property, the beds hadn't been made, the trash was still there, and there was just half a bar of soap left from earlier guests. The AC barely worked and the balcony was falling apart. There was a barbecue, but no plates, glasses, cutlery, or cooking tools, and breakfast wasn't offered. I wouldn't spend another night there.

We cancelled as soon as we got there because the lack of parking and the way the booking was handled didn't feel serious. I also noticed a dent in the door just before I figured out where we could park.

8/10
The owners made us feel welcome, the place was very clean, and the bed was comfortable with nice-smelling sheets. The bathtub had several hydromassage settings, plus Bluetooth music you could choose, and the quality for the price was top. A couple of things could be better: the bathroom mat should be replaced, it gets a bit cold in winter, and breakfast wasn't the best.
