For the price and location, it's probably the best you can get near Pompeii. The car can be parked right next to the accommodation, and the location itself is great. Communication with the owner is only possible in Italian. We were given a different room from the one we'd paid for. It was clean, but there were lots of dead mosquitoes on the walls, one bed sheet wasn't clean enough, and the only place I could get a mobile signal was the toilet. Cars passing the house were noisy.

The mold, damp, and smell kept me awake all night, and nothing worked, including the air conditioning. I don't recommend it. We left right away the next day.

It's a 10-15 minute walk from Pompeii. We arrived after check-in hours, and the host was very kind about it. Check-in and check-out were self-service. The floor could've been cleaner.

The stay wasn't bad overall, and I can recommend it, but the communication was tricky. The landlady didn't speak any English, so we weren't sure where to park, for example. We'd paid for a double room, but either someone else was using it or the owner didn't have the key, so she gave us a bigger room with four beds instead. The room seemed quite worn: the bathroom wall was peeling and there were marks on the walls. We also had no signal except in the bathroom, on the toilet.

It's a new property, not far from one of the entrances to the excavations. The comforts and especially the attractive price made for a pleasant stay. Thanks to the manager for the hospitality.
