"B&b Civico 227 Di Anna D"

I'd absolutely avoid this place. The rooms were in poor condition and looked nothing like the photos. The included breakfast was just an espresso you had to make yourself. The owner was very rude: she didn't even say hello while she was on the phone, then knocked at exactly 10am to tell us to leave.

Signora Anna made us feel at home throughout our four nights here. She was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was comfortable and clean, with a mini fridge and air conditioning that were especially welcome in the warm weather. The refurbished bathroom had a lovely modern look, too. We found the location really convenient for our visits to Naples and Pompeii. The B&B is just a few steps from the centre of Pompeii, so it was easy to explore the town and reach the archaeological site. We had a very pleasant stay and would gladly return or recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The room was clean, though it could use an update, and there was nowhere to put away clothes, so our suitcases stayed packed. The double bed was fine. The cot was a fold-out one with a mattress that needed replacing, and my son slept on its edge for two nights. After that, one cot leg had been taped shut. The pillows needed replacing as well. The bathroom was spacious, and I hadn't seen a refrigerator in a bathroom before. Breakfast was basically toast left on the reception desk, across from a cabinet with a kitchenette and coffee maker where you could make something. The B&B is in the city centre and parking is available nearby, but I wouldn't stay again. There are better options around.
