Casa Cantoniera-Guest House : Costruite Il Viaggio

The apartment itself was disappointing. It wasn’t very clean, the building felt old, and outside noise came through clearly. The wardrobe was close to falling apart, the bed was basic and uncomfortable, and there were hardly any cleaning supplies in the bathroom. The parking situation was also a problem. There’s a shared lot, but we weren’t assigned a space. Later that evening, another resident told us to move our car, so we ended up leaving it on the street. Check-in was the worst part. We had booked the entire three-room apartment through Booking.com, but were handed a key for only one room and asked to pay extra to use the others. That condition wasn’t mentioned on the website when we booked, so it felt like a way to get more money from us. Even the key for the one room we could use wasn’t properly handed over. It was a very unpleasant experience.
