Tana Dell'Orso

The room was booked for three through Booking.com, and I got a confirmation, but the owner said he had no reservation and would find us somewhere anyway. The sheets and towels were the only clean things, and they were quite dated. The rooms were dirty and smelly, the bathroom was awful, and we had to clean the toilet before using it. There was a foul smell everywhere, and the hot water took a while to come on. Payment was cash, with no invoice. Terrible.

The owner was friendly, but the price was excessive for what we got. We'd booked a double room, but it wasn't available when we arrived, so they put us in an apartment. Sheets and towels were clean, but the rooms were dirty and smelled of smoke. The bathroom was awful, and the kitchen was indescribable, though luckily we didn't need to use it. The table was too dirty to put anything on, and we had to clean the bathroom fixtures before using them. The smell was everywhere. Terrible.

The location is excellent, close to the center, and the owner was professional, kind, and polite. On my first stay at this B&B, I was very satisfied. The rooms were very clean, tastefully furnished, and had cool climates. Definitely a place to stay, and I highly recommend it. You'll be completely satisfied.

We came to visit relatives and picked this place because it's nearby. It's quiet, about 30 minutes from Pisa, and the room was cozy and comfortable, with a soft bed. Both the room and bathroom were spotless, and the shower was modern and spacious. I think everything was renovated a couple of years ago. The owner is very helpful, and there's air conditioning too. Two bars, Roxy Bar and Bar Orsa, are about 400-500 meters away for breakfast. Their pastries are excellent and worth trying. Highly recommended.
