Crabun

The hotel is fine and the price is very cheap, so it was good value for money for our one-night stay. The room was small but satisfactory, though the shower was too small and there weren't enough pillows or cushions. The air conditioning didn't work well, so we opened a window, which turned out to be a huge mistake because mosquitoes got in and we slept badly. Dinner and breakfast were both middling. The lasagna was good, but the salmon was frozen; breakfast was okay, if neither large nor varied. The decor was nice, and the views were breathtaking. There was a lift and a car park.

The food was a real highlight, fresh, delicious, and local. At Hotel Crabun, we also found warm hospitality, kind and helpful staff, cozy rooms, and breathtaking mountain views. It's peaceful and welcoming, a lovely place to unwind after a day of exploring. A hidden gem in the Aosta Valley, and we'd absolutely stay again.

I've taken far too long to write this, and I owe this incredible hotel and its staff an apology. Everything about the place was amazing, but it's the people who made the stay unforgettable. Last September, my mother and I were there for a hiking trip, and she broke her leg in an accident on our second day. Carmello came to find us in the middle of nowhere and brought us back to the hotel. When we returned from the hospital, the kitchen staff had made us a late meal of delicious pasta and wine. Everyone kept taking such incredible care of us for the rest of our stay. I can't recommend this place enough. You'll be glad you stayed, and I'll return as soon as I can.

The restaurant was disgusting, more like poor catering, and the rooms were dirty, small, and ugly. The AC didn't work either. This hotel is a rip off: you pay five-star prices for budget Formula 1 or ibis quality. Don't get fooled by the fake reviews like we did. Run away.
