In the evenings, we could unwind in the lovely garden, which I highly recommend. The house itself is a wonderful historic building, and the owner has cared for its renovation and upkeep just as much as she has shown kindness to her guests. It's only a few minutes' walk from the station, with Florence an easy 25-minute train ride away.
