Tenuta dei Cavalieri

The setting is breathtaking, and Tenuta di Cavalieri is a warm, calm, well-run family business with beautiful Toscane architecture. Breakfast had a good range of options. Inside was cozy and warm enough that we didn't need the air conditioner. There are cute cats around too, if you like cats. Thanks to the owner, his son, and the friendly woman we met in the morning. We took the bus but got off at the wrong stop, and the owner kindly picked us up by car. That was super helpful. When we left, he even gave us a free ride to the train station. I strongly recommend it!

The relaxed atmosphere and very professional staff made for a lovely lunch. The pasta dishes were amazing, and the traditional grigliata was just right. It's set among trees, with nature all around. The restaurant isn't luxurious, but it feels exactly like a traditional Tuscan restaurant, and the food fits that style. If you love horses, you can also spend the day here with rides and lessons. We'll be back!

The room was comfortable and nice, and breakfast was good with amazing coffee. The pool was pleasant, though the area is in complete darkness at night. The traditional Tuscan architecture is beautiful. There was no refrigerator, and the shower didn't work well. Still, it was a pleasant stay and good value.

It's a quirky B&B in a lovely location, but quite worn down. The pool was okay. Staff were rarely around, and when she was there the interaction wasn't very friendly. Breakfast was a big disappointment. Bring a car, since there's no lunch or dinner available and taxis are very hard to get. They did give us a free lift a couple of times, which was nice. They also tried to charge me 45 euros to borrow a towel and an extra sheet.
