We had a lovely time, and I’d happily return. The hotel is charmingly old-fashioned and traditional. At breakfast, they gave us the dinner menu so we could choose our evening meal. The food was simple, wholesome and filling, served family-style. There was a strong emphasis on fish, so I’m not sure how a vegetarian would fare. There were two starters and two mains to choose from, and everything I tried was lovely. The rooms are basic but have what you need, and housekeeping kept them spotlessly clean. There are two pools and plenty of chairs and sun loungers.

We knew in advance that the hotel was a bit rustic, and our room had everything we needed. The family-run place is nicely managed, the hosts are very pleasant, and the cleaning team was diligent. The pool area was lovely and looked after daily. I’d have appreciated clearer information about a couple of things. We learned some details from guest comments, including the familiar rule about wearing a bathing cap. An explanation beforehand or signs would have helped. Breakfast felt a little limited to us too, and some fruit or vegetables would have been nice.

A very nice hotel close to everything, with excellent service and helpful staff at breakfast. The rooms were clean, though a little dated. There are two nice pools, free towels, a bar and lots of space. I’d definitely return.

I expected more from this hotel. If you’re hoping to relax on the island, be aware that getting a good night’s sleep may be difficult. Loud morning conversations and doors slamming because of staff disrupted things for me. I couldn’t sleep from 5:30 to 6 a.m.

Simple and clean, with a really good location. You get what you pay for. Breakfast was very Italian, with coffee, croissants, cake and some salami for making a sandwich. There are two nice pools, though they aren’t thermal.
