The biggest letdown was dinner service. Over our three nights, the waitresses repeatedly brought different dishes from what we’d ordered. When we pointed it out, we waited another 30 minutes for the right food, while people who arrived later were served first. Soup sometimes came on top of the main course, and the next day the main dish arrived before the appetizer and soup. With three of us at the table, we had three glasses, and ordered wine and water each day, but staff just left them and moved on without bringing extra glasses for another drink. The dinner music was so out of place, it felt like a disco or a TikTok edit. The hotel is right in front of the ski area, which is fantastic. No ski bus or other ride is needed to get to the slopes. The reception lady was friendly and helped where she could, though the facilities otherwise felt ordinary, dated in places, and unattractive. We were three people sharing a classic double room with an extra bed for three nights. It was cramped. The linen was clean, the bathroom adequate, with strong water pressure, a hair dryer and toiletries. We got fresh towels every day and the bed was made. There was a balcony, but it was shared with another room. One socket didn’t work, and neither bedside lamp worked, so we had to use the main light. I’d recommend it to people who mainly come to ski and only need the hotel for sleeping. If you want to enjoy the hotel’s facilities and programs, this isn’t the place.

The rooms are the weak point. Some sockets didn’t work, and there were stains on the walls and ceilings. Still, they were cozy, the beds were comfortable, and I slept well. The shower is small and the water comes out oddly, but you can still have a nice shower. The staff and food were amazing, and the waiters were extremely kind and friendly. The location is great too, close to ski rental, the slopes, and the glacier, with lovely views. I’d recommend it.

I’m really sad to leave this amazing place. Stefano and his team were wonderful, helpful, and gracious in every way. I hope I’m lucky enough to come back before too long. Wishing them all the best. Cheers.
