We loved the peaceful setting and the gorgeous view, and even our dog had a great time. The host was very welcoming and accommodating, so we'd gladly return. It does take about 20-25 minutes to get to shops or other things to do, and restaurants and the beach are a bit far away. If quiet is what you're after, though, this place is perfect. Best, Silvano

Buddy was welcomed just as warmly as we were, and Silvano made our arrival easy. The drive through the olive groves is adventurous, but we enjoyed it. From the house, perched a little over 400 meters above sea level, the view reaches right down to the sea, and it's easy to spend a whole day just relaxing there. The house has what you need, with Mediterranean-style furnishings, enough water pressure, and mosquito nets on every window. Imperia is about 15 minutes down the hill and has enough to keep you busy for days. We liked the countryside location and the quiet. If you go to the harbor, try Ristorante Il Melograno for pizza and tiramisu. It's also worth seeing the inside of Basilica di San Giovanni Battista.

That starry sky, the view over the mountains and out to sea, especially at sunset, and the quiet made this a special place to spend time together. There's a nice walking trail right from the house, and you can head to Nice, Genoa, or into the mountains for an outing. We'd love to return. Silvano and Anna were always helpful and had great tips. One thing to prepare for in summer: the insects outside are awful, and the bites itch unbearably. Both houses have mosquito nets, but bring plenty of repellent and Fenistil or Bit-Away. We preferred the yellow house. It has a better view, no stairs, and no air conditioning. The stairs in the gray house aren't suitable for dogs, although there's an outside workaround. That house has two entrances and a lovely separate barbecue area.

I've stayed here several times, and it's lovely every time. The setting is beautiful and so peaceful, and the accommodation has everything you need. Charlie and I are already looking forward to coming back. Best wishes, Andreas
