The owners were extremely kind and knew their stuff. The tasting menu was creative, the dishes beautifully presented, and the view was amazing. It feels like an underrated gem in the province of Piacenza, one of the best places to visit around here. Don't miss the homemade ice cream. It was delicious and unique, and you can really taste the quality. We'll be back very soon.

We were lucky to find the restaurant uncrowded and got a round table facing the garden. The menu is thoughtfully put together and interesting, and the courses were appealing and well presented for both vegetarians and meat eaters. With so many interesting dishes, I doubt you'd order the same thing on repeat visits. We'd definitely recommend it for the excellent food and service.

The palace atmosphere was nice, and the building sits in a great spot, with lots of windows looking out over the forest. The decor felt a little old fashioned. The service was okay, though the staff didn't speak English. Vegetarian choices were limited to mushrooms or side dishes. The sides were really good, but the mushrooms didn't impress me. The meat options looked great, with lots of boar, though I didn't try any. And the toilets had no seats, not even in the women's facilities. That was really terrible.

The garden was beautiful, and there was parking on the property. Our room was clean and nice. Breakfast was high quality, but you had to order from a catalogue with a fairly limited choice instead of choosing from a buffet.
