Agriturismo Pieve San Nicolo

Breakfast was limited and the rooms were only okay. Most of all, this shouldn't be sold as a family room for five when two teenagers have to sleep in the hallway. Also be aware there's a nearby chicken farm with a smell, as well as a gas turbine energy plant.

A comfortable, very clean agritourism, and the owner is kind and has lots of suggestions for places to visit and things to do in the area. They make their own wine, which you can taste or buy.

Marco and his mother helped make our holiday wonderful. The farmhouse is peaceful, with greenery and vineyards around it, just a short walk from Lake Garda and the Mincio River. San Nicolò, the old church, sits beautifully in the grounds. The rooms have all the amenities, and there's a veranda for breakfast, reading, or simply relaxing. The garden is well kept and has a lovely pool. A magnificent place to unwind.

The area is wonderfully peaceful, especially compared with Lake Garda, with no crowds of tourists or cars. We spent ten days at this agriturismo and would happily return. Marco was a friendly, helpful host who gave us great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. He speaks and writes very good English. Our room was spotless and quiet, with the linens changed regularly. The garden and pool are lovely, and breakfast had everything we could want. The location worked well for us: around 30 minutes by car from Verona Airport and 15 minutes from Lake Garda. Bikes can be rented, and places such as Bergamo, Lake Como, and even Venice are fairly easy to reach by motorway. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.
